We were originally going to head into Bordeaux centre, but the weather was so grotty, and Pauline and her family had been out in it all day, and so understandably fed up and very wet!
So they came home and we went to a local restaurant, which was super!! I had mussles for the first time, in a curry sauce, with chips! and a scrummy strawberry ice cream with squirty cream and yummy strawberries!! Pauline had profitor rolls, and one of the girls had crépe, and others, a variety of ice cream..Gwilym was so stuffed that he couldn't finish his.
They all fly back home today. It's been lovely to see them all.Next week we have a friend and her two boys coming to stay for a week!
