Fiona & I went out onto the university campus, after spending some time in prayer.
It's not an easy thing to do, just to approach people and ask them about their beliefs as many folks will know.
We went out at lunch time.Students all over the place..this is the time to do it!
We were amazed at how polite and willing most of them were to do the questionaire, especially as they were eating their lunch!
If they didn't want to do it we would certainly not push them, just wish them bon apetit, and go to some one else.
We have one or two follow ups to do. Gave away a couple of bibles and tracts, but it really is clear that "the whole world is under the control of the evil one"..
It was very sad to talk to some girls who said they had absolutely no interest at all in God, and didn't want to bother. They were extremely polite though.
It was heart breaking to talk to them...this again just shows that it has to be a work of the Spirit, to give life....persuasive words or clever arguments will get us no where...
They are where I once was ... but thanks be to God, there is hope and He who is in us, is greater than he who is in the world..that is the hope we have.
