Yesterday we went out to celebrate our 16 wedding anniversary ( 13 march).
We went to a really nice little Vietnamise place just around the corner from us. The chap was so nice & welcoming, and it is obviously a very popular restaurant! People coming & going all lunch time.Catrin & Gwilym had decided to lunch at school so great opportunity!

Then in the afternoon a friend came & we spent the afternoon looking at the Bible, & particularly Romans 5 ;8-10

'But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:whilse we were still sinners Christ died for us'

It was really good to look at that, as many people think that by our own efforts we will get to heaven, but we had to read the passage several times, to make it sink in that we can do absolutely nothing to make us right with God, and that it was his initiative to send his son in the first place.

Today the youngens have Lampadaire with Ben & Rachelle, so Liz & me & her youngens are going to the local carnival in Eysine, and the sun is a shinin'!
