Visit of the Tahitian Choir

After the morning service which was taken by their pastor, we all ate together, then they sang some Christian songs, in French and in their own natural language,which is like Maori... and did some traditional dances.
They wore such colourful clothes! they were splendid
A couple of the youngsters did some traditional bottom wiggling dances..the secret is apparently with the knees,not the hips!

At the end of the afternoon, Alan &I were both given one of their necklaces, as were Sammy & Carol! That was just lovely!!

As we were standing and singing together in the service, it struck me how wonderful the family of God is, how huge and full of different folk from different cultures, and what unity there is in Jesus Christ....
