has hit us in Bordeux as well..not lots of snow, but the roads are like ice rinks. Alan took Catrin to collége thismorning, and on returning, the car skidded..he is ok, and managed to pull in behind a bus, which in fact was also stuck! So he abandoned the car & is at this minute walking around the centre of Pessac, waiting for Catrin to finish..he may be able to drive back or they may have to walk..
what to do with Gwilym though..he goes to collége by tram, but cos of this, the trams & buses have stopped running! Looks like he may have to sleep in the school tonight..hopefully not, we may find a solution..it would take an hour if not more to walk home
