the fuses in the house that is! We have a very delicate electical wiring or something in our house, that doesn't allow you to have all lots of electric heaters on the same time as boiling the kettle! so everything in the kitchen went off, just in the middle of cooking tea!
Well, it was just about finished,actually so it was ok..only the fridge freezer wasn't working, couldn't have a cuppa,or any heat in the kids bedrooms..but that's ok, we're a hardy bunch, and have a lovely wood burning stove in the sitting room (and we actually got to see Gwilym for the evening..he couldn't have the heater on in his room!!)
I'd managed to blow the fuse in the extension lead too....
Found another so the freezer could be plugged in, although in this cold, I don't think it would really have defroseted very much!!
When Alan got in from the prayer meeting he saw another pack of fuses on the top of the electric meter! Clever old thing! and he'd thought the lot had been used..it's not a very frequent affair, but does happen
wot fun eh!!
