So here we are in South Wales, land of my fathers (my great grand mother was welsh)
We arrived in the UK on Wed, after staying in B&B in Bologne.. we zoomed to Burgess Hill for a few days to catch up with the Hodgson side of the family. Lovely to see cousins sisters etc..got some super photos but can't put them on! We gathered for a BBQ. The weather was super, and we haqd a great tie;. Pauline & her hubby & one of her girls came to visit on the Friday evening, which was lovely. Thanks Val & Al for putting us up!!
We then went to Bath for the Sunday to stay with friends...I was sick all Mon morning..we put it down to heat stroke, as over the weekend I don't think I drank very much and it has been very hot.. Thankyou Anne for your lovely care!
I recovered to come up to the Rhondda surprising Kath & Huw! So we spent the evening with them all too briefly! Alan went to Heath Evangelical Church for the commissioning service of Emmanuel & Esther, who are coming to Brittany to work with the church there in Guingamp.
Maybe we will get to see the South Wales family again at the end of the month. It's so good to see the rolling Sussex hills then the lovey city of Bath, & now the lovely scenery of Wales! What a gorgeous country is Britain.
Tomorrow we head off to Deeside!!!!!
It's strange getting used to an English key board again!
