There were fireworks at a park in Pessac, to celebrate Bastille Day. They started at 11.30; there's exciting!There were loads of people there, and although the fireworks only lasted 20 mins, they were very good!
Catrin has a friend from church staying over night,so it was a little treat for her too, and her family are coming for lunch after the service in the morning.
We have our first meeting at the chapel at Pessac tomorrow! No longer can we call ourselves "the church at Floirac"!
You should click on this last picture, it's quite nice, and the fireworks blend well with the leaves on the tree!
