yep, it all happened today..school/collége /lycée started.
Gwilym started at 10.15, taking the no.4 bus all the way (about 50mins)
Interesting, cos he doesn't know anyone there, so it's all about making buddies again...
Catrin started at 14.15. She took the no.4 bus too..the Davey family bus we call it now! Both finished at around 16h. It was just to get the emploi du temps.. There's two or three mornings where it'll be an early start (up at 6am; Gwilym to get the bus at 7am)
One day where Catrin finishes around 17.20 (why not 17.30??or 1715..beats me..)
This evening was all about covering books, sorting out what type of paper..double or single, big squares or little squares for each lesson..Whether she needed poly-pockets or dividers...Just love it! Good ole rentrée!
This week we're getting to know the bus really well, cos Alan has the car all week, with the Mission work etc..so tomorrow will be crazy!
Evening is Lampadaire, the youngsters church club..starting at 18h...Catrin finishes at 16.35 or some silly time, so ..should she come home first, then get the bus to Bdx centre, then the tram A out to Cenon..or should she just get the no.4 bus to the centre of Bdx and go straight to Cenon & be there about 1hr early..She could help set up.
Gwilym finishes at 15.30 so he will come home, get tram or bus, then change to tram A to Cenon..
Me.. I have to go to Gwilym's lycée for a parent teacher thingy tomorrow afternoon, which is meant to last til 17h (starts at 15h..these things go on for hours!) So bus no.4 to nearly the end of the line..You can see why we call it the Davey family bus! So mad mad day!!
Catrin has just called me..she got the fright of her life when a lizard ran across the chair in her bedroom!! So have been lizard hunting in between writing this, but the little thing is so fast! I don't think the windows have been opened in her room today, so he may have been in since yesterday..still I believe they eat spiders & flies? But it would be a sad thing not to be able to get him outside again!
The mission team are in Bdx this evening down by the Quay, doing open air..singing songs & hopefully do a bit of preaching..be interesting to hear how it goes.
Another memeber of the team arrived today..Alan went to collect her from the airport..She'll be staying with us rather than with the team as she's been unwell..but hopes to be able to get involved with the stuff at the weekend.
