We have a professional story teller in our church, and she told us a Christmas story
We heard a story about 3 trees in the forest who dreamed of great things for themselves..One was cut down, and used for a feeding trough, another was cut down and used for a boat for a special teacher, the other was cut down and made into a cross....
There was a short nativity play too..here the donkey is sitting by the feeding trough
Whilst Mary gets the good, but troublesome news about what is going to happen to her!
Here she is happily oblivious to everything, doing her housework until the angel comes!It was a lovely afternoon..our neighbour came with her boys..she had been with us in the morning already, left her eldest then came back!
The morning service was the same that Alan preached for the International service last week, about the state of Bethelhem, tho of course in French..sadly there was no preaching in the afternoon..hmmm
