Today some friends from the UK arrive for a week of mission. One of them is staying with us, Tom..& there was some confusion at the airport as Alan thought he had befriended him on face book, however it was his son..they eventually got together though!
Our dear friend Liz is coming! It'll be so good to see her. She was here for a year last year, then got married to a french guy this year, we were unable to make it to her french wedding, so it'll be good to catch up with the Mrs!
They'll be a week of sondage on the campus, they'll be a barn dance, & giving out flyers for the English class.. & evangelising on the campus which will include the sondage and other stuff I imagine.So please pray for this, that God would touch the hearts of many & give strength to all involved.
They're all coming to us to eat a few days during the week.. the first being this evening. We were going to do spag bol but have decided to do tartiflette instead. Basically potatoes lardons onions & cheese..good healthy stuff. The spag bol will be friday, cos I'm at a pârents evening & they go on for days. The bol, sauce can stew in the slow cooker.
Well all the cupboards & shelves in the kitchen are sparkling clean & tidy (not for long) Now the next task is to wash down the paintwork, ready to rub it down (maybe I'll skip the wash part, after all it's getting rubbed off anyway!) ready to be painted..
The whole house needs a good sort out but thought I'd start with the second smallest room..O no, that's Gwilym's bedroom..you can forget that one!!
