This week a group of us are getting ready for our first ever children;s club in our church "Club bonne nouvelle" which is taking place next Mon - Tues, 19 &20 Dec, for 3hrs in the afternoons; I'm organising the craft & have had great fun surfing the web, & trying out different craft stuff. So, we have 3 crafts for each day..we're catering for about 25 children though in reality we have no idea how many will turn up..it's all in the Lord's hands!

Sunday last we had our Christmas meal together as the International Church. It was very well attended in fact exactly the right number of people for the chairs we'd put out!
We managed to do a turkey & three veg meal thanks to the wonderful loan of the Chinese groups warming pans..we put in the frozen veg, & it was perfect! We couldn't find ready frozen roasties, so Alan found the next best thing..they looked like chips, well I suppose they were potato wedges.
Everyone bought dessert.
It was a great evening with Alan giving the message after the main course, letting our food go down before we tackled the lovely puds!
He talked about how Herod & all his minions knew about the birth of Jesus, but couldn't be bothered to pursue the matter, & he encouraged us to not give up persuing!
