Today we had to listen to a recording of two women, chatting about a wedding they were going to attend.
Then we had to listen to it again, and write down what we heard. It was played many times, but still I didn't get everything.
Then came the time for someone to write it on the white board with us all shouting encouring words from our desks.
When the word "fille de ner" was repeated, it was then spelt..
La fille d'honeur...(brides maid or maid of honour duh!)
O well, I suppose one can't always be right!!!
The teacher had a good guffaw anyway!
