Friday, we went to Lacanau beach, to meet up with the Griffin's who are spending some time at a camp site near by..We had a picnic, and yes sand wiches too!!
As you can see we managed to bury nearly all of them Josh & Ben, but Hanah being very sensible,declined! Catrin got done too,& they are still there to this day (nah! of course not! we let 'em out eventually!!)
On Thursday, we took the English patient to the Dune de Pyla,a must see for all who visit Bordeaux.
After that we went to this beach in Pyla sur Mer, which we decided must have been private, the entry was over the huge rocks there in the picture! Still, we didn't think about it til we were on it and saw the houses near by, with steps onto the beach!!

It was ok, but we prefer the beaches they have here, by the side of the lakes..we spent some lovely hours by some in the Dordogne....

Saturday we did not a thing!!It has been extremely hot here, too hot really, so we stayed in all day, reading watching ER that sort of thing...

Today we visited the Free Church here in Pessac, so as to 'hide' a bit..as we haven't gone away, we are going out places each day and pretending we have gone away!

This evening we spent a happy time with our neighbour & her two little ones. She invited us over for a meal which was lovely..Gwilym & Catrin are so good with her children, it's great to see them all play!! The baby is cute!!! but the poor sausage has been very hot these last few days, and a bit grumpy.. We may have them for the morning on Thursday as mum has an interview for a new job..
