We returned yesterday from Le Burg in the Dordogne, having all stayed with some friends in their house whot they are doing up. It was super, and it's great to see them happy & settling in well. They often have deer roaming across their garden which is so lovely! Alan saw two the day we left.
We sat by rivers, ate good food, had lots of chats...it was a lovley time.
So, we're back (thanks liz & children for garding the piggies) but it's sooo quiet. Not that Gwilym & Catrin are noisy (not so much now anyway) but it's so different! We can't get in touch with them all week cos they're on camp in Twyn, & although it's good that they have gone (it wil be great fun!) We miss them! Still they'll be back 10 August.
Meanwhile, we intend to garden like mad next week (that's if the weather stays good) cos it's desperate! get the shopping for the new school year, and paint the outside wood on the house....hmm, watch this space!
