We got our first ever real Christmas tree today! The one we have is about at Gwilym's knee level, and so the kiddies decided they'd like a real one, so we trundled off to Ikea today to get book shelves for Alan's study, and a tree!!

It's a very nice one, and looks lovely so far with the lights...if we take it back between 5 - 15 Jan, we get our money back sauf 1euro, which goes to planting new trees in Sweden (or was it Norway?)

This afternoon I went to our church in Cenon to see one of our members who is a prof story teller..She recounted the story of Esther..She uses her gift which is also her job, to witness to others about her faith.
It was a great hour, had me on the edge of my seat anyway..sadly not many people came, Dik & Hetty, Sam the stagier, and a lady known to Mary Miriam (our story teller) who is also a story teller...we went around Cenon last week posting loads of leaflets through letter boxes..
