Carnival time

Today was Carnival time at the school, and the theme was Italy.. The children made masks at school and bought them home, to add more decoration if they wanted..

Some of the children came dressed up in all sorts of stuff, like ninja, pirates, princesses etc. It was splendid!

They paraded out of one of the school gates, round the round about and in through the other gate.

Here is Catrin and a really good friend of hers, they went all round the playground together with another girl, and all three of them get on very well!




Here they are parading down the road. Naturally all the mums and dads were there (unless of course they had to go and find a washer for the loo so it worked! Yep, thankfully Alan was successful!!)

They also made a gondolar (is that the name of the boat or the bloke what "drives' it?)

Anyway as you can see it's splendid!

After the parade, the mums and dads all stood outside the school yard, and watched the children have a disco dance!

Then the queen of the Carnival was elected. Her costume was amazing and made by her parents. Sadly I don't have a picture here.

A good time was had by all, and the sun shone brilliantly, so even though it's Saturday, it really was worth getting up for!
