Gwilym & a friend went swimming on Thursday and he intended to stay overnight, so we could take them out the following day..Well he didn't stay, but we collected him on the way at about 8 am. He's been a faithful friend from the start of school here, and although he has changed schools, every so often he'll ring up and they get together.He's a really nice lad
So off we went, being told that the weather in Carcassone was better than in Bordeaux!
It rained all day! but..Carcassone is a really nice place to go, very popular, quite pretty too. Perhaps a bit commercialised as well, but not too bad.
It took 3hrs there and back.We took a picnic, and like all good Brits, we ate it in the car as it rained!Mean whilst Catrin is camping with the scouts somewhere,in tents!!
She's back later today.....
