Happy but tired

Christmas morning started about 7am..not as early as yesterday!
Gwilym looks tired here, but it may be that he's just watching something on the TV! We are really thankful for all the lovely presents we were given. I feel particularly French..I got a Tisaniere.. a box of different flavoured teas..I had been to a ladies meeting in someones house, and they bought out this box..so I asked Santa for one, and low and behold, that is what I was given!

Catrin looking particularly happy with a new pair of pj's given her by auntie Hazel and her lovely necklace from auntie Kath

We left for the student centre about 10am, and got busy cooking and sorting salads etc. I went to collect some bits and bobs from poor Fiona, who is suffering with loss of voice, sore throat etc.. hopefully she'll rest at home now,she is away for a while...

Generally it all went very well..Andy and his crew were very organised. We had food(lots of!!) then some silly games, for which we were given points (and what to points mean? Prizes)To finish off our points some of us had to get up and sing or dance or something. One young lady read from the bible in English (she is from french Ghana..she did very well) I sang a verse of Once in Royal David"s city; and some of the Chinese students had to get up and do a turn as well..it was great fun..

After all the jollity's we got serious, and Alan gave a short talk from the Bible. Three different reactions to the birth of Jesus Christ.. what is our reaction to this news? Do we believe it or not, and if not, do we want to try and find out if it's true..Then a short talk at the end of the message about FAC the student centre, and why we are here..to show the truth of the Bible..

We got home about 8.30ish..
