Hmm, I was a bit cheesed off wasn't I!

Today went well, we had another teacher for the lesson, who is a lot gentler..We did some 'find the missing word' things, and 'put the right verb in the right place' quiz, which was good for us..

We usually spend the first hour just talking about anything, and some how we got on to talking about Salmon? How? not sure but why not!

This time of year we have the postman, the firemen and bin men coming round giving us calendars for a donation..The postman one is pretty good, it has lots of very useful info,and maps in the back!

What jobs though. Who would be a postman in this weather (my dad was a postman for years, and used to deliver Vera Lyn's post! How's that for name dropping, and would have to get out of bed about 4am! bad enough at 6.30!!) or even a bin man, or even a pompier..going to some terrible accidents at homes or on the roads..We are very blessed to have such folks...we often take them for granted, and forget the amazing things they do!
