I made some drop scones

Maybe not so amazing, except that most of my cakes & stuff don't rise and it's the first time I made them.
I made some hot cross buns last week, they came out like bullets..the yeast didn't rise,not sure why..they were good enough to play cricket with!
I used to have a bread maker, so was spoilt(although before that even, I made some bread from time to time)
It was my 'welcome to the world Catrin' present all those years ago, some one else is enjoying it's delights now...

So, these drop scones are yummy! They don't have to rise, so that's a bonus..and they remind us a bit of crumpets which you can't get over here!
