Sunday morning

we were quite full in church & it was good to see G who had been promising to come for several weeks!

The message was given by a chap who has spent the weekend in Bordeaux, doing talks at the student centre..
This morning he spoke from John 11:47-53, Galatians 5, Ephesiens 4:1-6

He spoke about the one ness we have in Christ, that we know that the cross means personal salvation bien sur, but Jesus died to bring together all the family of God in to one body.

He has given us unity, which is something to be guarded, and we must work together to maintain that unity..a Christian on his own should not be on his own, he has been bought into the body of Christ..so when people tell me they are Christians; but they don't go to church..why?? They are part of one body..just as the arm is part of the body, when it is removed, it is greatly missed, and is an essential part of that body! So Christians should be together! For the mutual encouragement of others, to bring praise and thanks to God together, to sit under His word.....

Today was the last day for Becca who returns to the UK next weekend! One of the great joys and sadnesses of being here, is that we meet such great people, and they stay for a few months, then they go home! But hopefully they'll come back & see us!!!

This afternoon has been a lovely quiet peaceful afternoon (hark! screams of horror in the back ground from one of the girls who has come back with us, as one of the piggies does what piggies do..wee wee on you!..Catrin is now hunting out a clean t shirt for her, the piggies have been banished to the grass in disgust!)

I've been out here in the garden, Gwilym has been playing with the neighbours from over the road..an unusually car- free- rush- around type of Sunday.
