Ben took time out of his "getting ready to go to the uk tomorrow" to help me with the loo!! It's been a bit of a problem for a while, you just have to treat it gently when pulling up the flush..pull too hard and the innards stay up, and water runs into the loo for ever.., so as my beloved is away, and I had tried to fit the silly thing back in place (no luck!) Ben the plumber came & sorted it, only the problem now is that the feeder tap into the cistern is leaking!!
O joy! so I have turned the water off, fill the cistern when needed, leaving a bucket under the tap!
It has nothing to do with Ben by the way that the tap is leaking, it was doing so before, just in case anyone reading this might get the wrong idea! I'm sure the Griffins are experts on loos by now, having had lots of trouble with theirs!

Mean while, Alan has spent a few days in S.Wales at meetings and spending some time with his sisters which has been great. this weekend he is off to NWales, to Flint & Mold...it'll be lovely to meet up with friends again!
This first week seems to have dragged!!!I have high hopes that the next one will fly by & Alan will soon be home!!!!
