Hot hot hot!

The temperature is up in the high 20's today! We're wilting! But it's been a lovely day.

We were to go to Piexoto for a picnic with Layla & her girls & Liz & her brood with me & my brood, but we thought it was going to rain, so everyone came here..Gwilym had been invited to a friends house, so he stayed for lunch, then I took him over.

Needless to say, it hasn't rained, the sky has been blue all day, the sun has been a shinin'! and it's hot hot hot!
So, we had our picnic, some in the garden some sitting inside, but of course for Layla, this is like winter (I say this cos I know she reads my blog!!) The temperatures in Bahrain hit the 30's!!!
Then we went for a stroll around park Bourgailh (tried to put a link but it don't work!) It's an eco park, and very nice to stroll around, and we heard a cuckoo!, but we didn't get too far, cos the kiddies were hot and tired, so home for a cool drink...and some Bahrain tea!

We have been told to expect storms over the weekend..oops! The church BBQ was cancelled last week cos of inclement weather, and rescheduled for this Sunday!! Should be interesting!
