..they came

The weather improved in Brittany, and it was pouring with rain here! but they came anyway.

It was really good to see them.

They are keen cyclists, and took Gwilym on his first long cycle ride, into Bordeaux, which took about 30 mins. He really enjoyed it, but was really tired after! And very glad that we had room in our car for the bike on the way home.

We met them by the quay, with Catrin's bike so this is her cycling along with them.

Along beside the quay, they are building a couple of skate board parks, which look really great, it's a great place to see dad's on rollerblades, pushing their pushchairs!

This is the fountain at the end of the tramway, although they are extending the tramway, so it won't be the end of it for much longer.

This is Catrin and Ruth enjoying the spray of the fountain. It got really hot finally, and so it was very refreshing.

Our friends cycled home, and we took Gwilym and Catrin and bikes in the car.

On the way home one of the girls got lost! It was a bit dramatic, cos she didn't know our address or the name of the village! She actually cycled past our road, but didn't realise it for a while. Thankfully she found her way back again! I have to say that I was getting a bit worried..
All in all a lovely time!
