The in laws are here

Kath & Huw arrived on Thurs, and bought gorgeous weather with them( although we had a bit of a storm last night)

They've been out in the garden to sort it out, cut the grass, and help cut up the many bits of tree that we chopped down months ago. The grass has never been this short, and never will be again sadly. I can't even look at a lawn mower these days with out my back just twinging!

It's lovely to have them, they just fit in, and happy to muddle in with anything! They even came to church with us and it's in French.

Alan was preaching, and I was writing away in English trying to translate for them, so they might understand a bit of what was being said.

Ephesians 2 v1-13. He spoke about what we once were "dead in your transgressions and sins"

He mentioned how we follow the ways of the world, just following each other without thinking, being objects of wrath. Seemingly a hopeless situation!

Then he spoke of two very wonderful and important words that Paul uses: "But God"
"who is rich in mercy"

Quite a hard message for those who don't believe, but a wonderful message full of hope ;

Gwilym has gone off to spend the day and night with the Lampadaire group, some where in the Dordogne, and Catrin who will be back today, was staying with a friend overnight.
