Have just been for a bike ride around the park with Catrin -she got a new bike for Christmas..it's such a lovely place to be here in Pessac..to hear the birds singing as you cycle round is such a blessing..we heard the cuckoo at the beginning of spring last year..we are so grateful to God that he has bought us here!

So, how did it go? well I managed to cycle all the way there and round (really it's just at the bottom of our road!) but had to walk a little on the way back..well, I haven't been on my bike for aaaaaages..so that's it..a little bit every day, come rain or shine (as long as it isn't chucking it down with rain that is!)

Tonight we are going to a friends house with others from church, to celebrate God's goodness to us throughout the year, and the year to come..for me there really is no other way to bring in the new year, but by praise & thanksgiving...
