This little chap was sitting on the side of our big paddling pool which was in the process of being emptied. He later flew off on to the side of the house.
We saw one on the side of the house when we first arrived last year, but after pulling up a load of weeds etc, we didn't see it again. Perhaps it has returned to it's home (mind you so have the weeds)

After lunch we all went to the beach "le truc vert" the green thing!!
The surf was quite rough, but that didn't stop the children from enjoying themselves.
People had to swim in an area between two green flags set up on the beach, and it was kept an eye on by 3 life guards.

Every so often the life guards would sound their klaxon to call people nearer to the beach or in between their flags, so they could keep an eye on them.
Here Catrin and Gwilym are trying to keep back the sea!
Needles to say it didn't work. What a powerful sea it was!
What a powerful creator we have.
We left about 6.30pm for home, and people were just arriving.
So all home very tired with half the beach in
clothes and shoes, Oh yes and of course, in the car..
