We made a DVD here in France, Brittany and Bordeaux, last October, and it's nearly finished.
The voice overs have to be put onto the thingy now.
Alan did the main narration, and we had some friends come over for the evening for a bite to eat, and to do the other parts of the voice overs.. speaking in English with genuine French accents!
The recording studio was our bedroom! No echo see, so what we had, was two chairs on the bed, and our duvet flung over the backs of them to sound proof it!
Now they never tell you that do they!!
It went well and was great fun..the chap who made the DVD is lovely, a real scream..
He is staying in a hotel just down the road. Alan & Gwilym took him there to dump his bags, and when they- got back here they spun me a tale of how awful it was, dead mouse in the bedroom, and a few other things that got me planning where he could sleep here, and if Gwilym would mind if he slept on his bottom bunk...
then it got worse..indeed it made me wonder if he should sleep in the bathroom..but then they saw how gullible I was..and gave up!!
I'm such a drip!
But the recordings went well, and we had a lovely evening..
