..started not to early for us really!
The children had a few little presents in their bedroom to open first thing,; which is just as well cos Gwilym woke at 4am!
When Catrin got up at 6ish, she went up to see if Gwilym was up, but he had gone back to sleep!
We all eventually got up and opened the presents, and the children got some lovely things! The pj's always needed came at just the right time, as I had just had to throw some of Catrin's away!
After breakfast, we drove off to the centre to drop off the food, and then to the English carol service for 10.30..
There were about 30 there I suppose, although the singing didn't sound as if it were that many!Alan and I bellowed manfully out at the top of our voices..well, you have to don't you, what a wonderful day to rejoice in!
So we had a lot of the old favourites, a very short message, and then a quick cup of coffee.
We drove back to the centre and started to get ready for the students.
All in all, there was about 20 or so there...really good. Lots of chatting and some useful new contacts made for the English class and bible studies.
Just before we played some silly games, a short talk on what Christmas means to us, and the importance of the Lord Jesus Christ was given..who we are and what goes on at the centre, just to get things into perspective...
Then games. Well, my turn to explain what we were going to do, and Fiona and I had more laughs over my explanation than anything else!!! It was great fun, and they must have understood me cos they did what they were asked!
Most people started to leave about 5pm although we were open til 7pm..It was just great to see so many students there, and we pray that those who expressed an interest in bible studies etc. will follow it up!
So today we were all really tired, and got up about 9pm!! unheard of for Alan!

9 PM. Wow that's late even for me, let alone a Pastor! 9am would be OK though. So pleased you had a good number at the centre. Though it was probably enjoyable I'm sure it was hard work. It seemed like a long day, so you deserved a rest!
