Two of our rats. Sadly one of them has since died.
It was a really hot day, and the daft thing didn't drink, and so when we got in from school/Uni. he was lying in his cage panting and looking very poorly.
The others were all fine..
Catrin and I cried buckets when he finally expired on Catrin's lap..
"we must get another one for company" she said...Thing is, we have 3 females already!!!So the answer to that was no. Patch is adjusting very
well to livining in his batchelor pad.
This is one of the girls, black beauty. She is cute to, although the boys have always been more sociable. This one is a bit timid.
We have a great friend, who has kindly offered to look after them whilst we are away, yep, all of them.
She has had horses, and so said she is used to mucking out!!!
Not to be left our, this is scabbers the gerbil. He is a very fast little thing, and it isn't easy to get him out of his cage.
We have one of those balls that you can put little creatures in; and they bomb around the house..
He goes in it sometimes..do they really like it?
He has never said no...
