Folk from Alan's language class were invited to go and visit this lovely house and grounds. The home of the late author Francois Mauriac.No, I have never heard of him, but it was a lovely day.
It was arranged by the grammer teacher, who's husband is the director of the place.
We had food. First course was, ham, of the uncooked kind, with some edible leaves, melon and some fig ice cream.
The children ate the melon.
Second course was ravioli, Catrin didn't eat that, and the last course was strawberries with some sort of sauce, and two little pots - one of rice pud and passion fruit, not sure what the other was. Needless to say neither of the children ate that! It was very nice, not expensive either.
After this we were treated to a show of music and dance.
